Danica Federe, M.S., CCC-SLP, CLC
Danica Federe is the founder of The Therapy Grove. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist and certified lactation counselor. She provides assessment and treatment for children and adults that present with speech, language, and feeding disorders. In addition, she provides in-person or virtual lactation services for new mothers having difficulty with breastfeeding. She has special interests in the areas of articulation, language disorders, and early intervention.
Danica holds an American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) and is licensed in the state of California. She received her lactation counselor certification through The Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP). She received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology at CSU East Bay with a minor in Human Development, and her master’s degree at CSU Northridge in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has 8 years of experience working in the private practice, home-based, home health, and school settings.
Her favorite thing about being a speech-language pathologist is forming relationships with her clients and their families, and seeing the growth that her clients make. In her free time Danica enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
